Certified Hypnotherapist

Adriana Smith, a certified hypnotherapist, was born in Washington, DC, and embarked on a global journey before settling in British Columbia, Canada. Raised by hippie parents, she was immersed in a world of healers, artists, and magic, shaping her worldview profoundly.

With over 50 years of life experience, Adriana has amassed numerous certifications and undergone extensive training in understanding human potential and the power of perception. Influenced by her mother's poetry and stepfather's teaching, she developed a profound appreciation for storytelling and the impact of language on the psyche.

Adriana's exploration of neuroscience began during her battle with Lyme disease, sparked by a spider bite in 2016. This experience led her to hypnotherapy, where she discovered a powerful tool for rewriting subconscious narratives and promoting holistic health.

Now based in Squamish, BC, on the unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Adriana continues her work, using metaphor and inner exploration to facilitate positive change in her clients' lives across various domains.

Adriana Smith was born in Washington, DC. After a circumnavigation of our beautiful planet her family settled in British Columbia, Canada.

Born to hippie parents she was exposed early to concepts and experiences, healers and artists, myths and magic that have shaped her world view and opened her mind.

In her over 50 years on this planet she has taken countless courses, has a dizzying array of certifications, and has logged countless hours in understanding our own power in creating our reality.

Her mother a published poet, and her stepfather an English teacher awakened in her a lasting passion and a deeper understanding of the power of words and storytelling, and the state of suggestibility of rapt attention. Today she uses metaphor and inner adventures to effect changework with her clients in any area of their lives.

Adrianaโ€™s first foray into neuroscience was in response to what she calls her Time of Lyme, an introduction to her body through pain. In 2016 she contracted Lyme from a Brown Recluse spider, taking her on a journey of healing that connected her to the deeper subconscious communication we have within us. Hypnotherapy allows for direct communication with our physiological systems, allowing us to rewrite our inner stories through trauma-release, repatterning, and new coding for optimum health.

In hypnotherapy Adriana found the perfect blend of her deep and abiding appreciation of what we can effect in our lives by changing our minds. Her ongoing passion for neuroscience and what it means for holistic health is her guiding light.

Adriana currently calls Squamish, BC on theunceeded territory of the Squamish Nation her home.
