Allergy vs. Sensitivity

  • A sensitivity may not show up for a number of days.

  • An allergy shows up within minutes or hours

SIBO

  • Start reintroducing foods using a diary. Adding foods one at a time to see which ones bother you
  • Important to have community when undertaking an elimination diet

Label Literacy

  • Look for sugar and bad oils

Takeaway

  • Determine where you want to be in your life, you’ll need to make conscious choices to get where you want to go.
  • Look at your environment, your skin care, cleaning products, all effect the gut microbiome
  • Digestion starts when we smell and look at food; chew your food.
